Our Doc-Track lets you send documents securely, but did you know you can customize that security to fit your exact needs? This article will walk you through the different options available when personalizing document security settings on ZoopSign.

Taking control: default vs. personalized settings

By default, Doc-Track applies a baseline level of security to your documents. However, ZoopSign empowers you to go a step further. 

When sending a document, you'll see the option to "Default" or "Personalize Settings." Choosing "Personalize" opens up a range of options to tailor the document's security to your specific needs.

Customizing document security 

Once you choose personalization, here are the features you can control:

Permissions

Decide who can access your document. You can restrict access to specific email addresses or allow access to anyone with the document link.

Email Authentication

Add an extra layer of security by requiring recipients to verify their email addresses before viewing the document.

Document Actions

Control what recipients can do with your document. You can choose to:

1. Allow downloading: Enable or disable recipients from downloading a copy of the document.
2. Allow printing: Grant or restrict the ability to print the document.
3. Allow commenting: Decide if recipients can add comments to your document.

Security features

Enhance document security with

1. Passcode: Protect your document with a passcode that recipients need to enter to view it.
2. Watermark: Add a visible watermark to your document, deterring unauthorized copying.

Expiry date

Set a date after which the document access expires, ensuring information remains confidential.
